Here's a baby penguin finger puppet I made for Michael because he loved the March of the Penguins so much.
I put it in one of those plastic easter eggs so it could hatch for him.

I made this one for Nairobi, but it didn't look quite right when I was finished with it. So I put it on and waved it around and realized it needed a tongue. So I added one. And sent it off to Baltimore.

I'm currently making a family of five wolf puppets. My shelves are fairly empty though because the rest of my puppets are at Gravity Lounge, a music/art/coffee house venue. When I make more I'll post pictures. But gosh, wouldn't a custom puppet make a great Christmas gift?

This past weekend my older sister and I went to Pittsburgh and then to Baltimore and then back to Virginia. I made two or three puppets on the drive and about half a dozen while we sat around at Baltimore Comic Con. This, I think, was one of my favorites. (The nose is a very dark red and one of the eyes has sort of a spiral black and white design.)

I made this puppet on the way from Pittsburgh to Baltimore. Its nose is slightly crooked. And its eyes are sort of square. It looks like it's alligatorish or maybe it belongs in a science fiction movie.

The head on this puppet is made out of corduroy and less bright of a red than the photograph makes it seem.

Nathaniel told me if I made him a robot puppet he would buy it. This is a boxy headed robot. It is cool. Nathanial is a jerk-o. He claims never to have any money, but totally has enough to take his girlfriend out. This robot is lonely. It needs someone to admire its mechanical fabric body.
